Okay, here’s the deal. It snowed yesterday but most of it seems to have melted and the park seems to be pretty clean anyway. Come out and skate, have fun, and get some prizes.
Construction Update: there is a blue construction fence bordering the north side of the park and it will be expanded to include the large bowl/full pipe on Monday, April 12th. From the City of Calgary:
“”The West LRT project office was informed today the western most bowl (the big expert one) in Shaw Millennium Park is closing due to West LRT construction on Monday, April 12, 2010. This closure is necessary to establish a safe zone around the area where the contractor is installing the elevated guideway piers.”

Before people watched most of their skate videos computers, there was something called Skate Canada. It was a great series of videos featuring Canadian spots, skaters, and contests.
