Regina Contest
Regina, Saskatchewan is a bit of a trek but skate comps in the winter are few and far between. The Tiki Room is again hosting the longest running indoor contest in Canada, aptly named “Welcome to Winter”. Check out the details below for your chance to win a chunk of $1500 and loads of prizes. Calgary locs tend to do pretty well at this one (Devin Morrison, Ryan Oughton, Beau Larson, and Mitch Kerbz have all taken home cash in the past).

Centre Street Skate Church
Another skate church is starting up right away. Centre Street Church’s weekly night is starting on Thursday, November 5th from 7:00PM until 8:30PM.
Dalhousie Skate Church
It’s getting cold again so it’s time to take things indoors. Dalhousie Community Church (5511 Baroc Rd NW) offers “skate church” on Tuesday nights from 5:30-7:00PM for 15 and under and 7:30-9:00PM for 16 and over. Helmets are required.
