Now that we know what’s going on with the Westside skatepark, it’s time to figure out what’s going on with Millennium Park with regards to the West LRT expansion.
According to the City of Calgary, “Through Millennium Park, the LRT will be above ground (elevated on piers) and will run on the north and west sides of the park.”
So the train will run just on the edge of what’s known as the “beginner” section of the skatepark, which is good news. Watch this video of the planned route to get a better idea:
