A few skaters from Cochrane have been working on their Jock Mentality video for a little while. We asked Sam Stuart, one of the dudes behind it to tell us more:
“Jock Mentality is a movie filmed and edited by Lane Mosolf. Basically Lane had a pile of ridiculous party/skateboard footage on his computer and decided he would make a video. The video was almost all filmed this summer, with some older stuff in there too. With footage from Calgary, Edmonton, Vancouver, Montreal, Barcelona, Paris and Rome.“

Gian-Carlo Carra is a candidate for City alderman in Ward 9. He’s helped CASE in our discussions with a private company to try and secure a building for an indoor skatepark. Gian-Carlo is a forward-thinking politician who supports skateboarding in Calgary. Even if you don’t live in Ward 9, check out his campaign platform on his website.
