ArtLife, C1RCA, The Source, and Mission present “Powerslide: a night dedicated to skate culture” at the Hifi Club on Tuesday, September 15th. This time it plays host to Coulson’s Game of SKATE. Get there as close to 9PM as possible– there are only 15 spots available in the 3 on 3 game of SKATE. Berrics rules will apply, of course.
Some Calgary locs including Dustin Henry, Beau Larson, and Jonathan Lachance AKA Frenchie skated with the Boarderline crew for a little demo during Taber’s annual Cornfest. Here’s the video:

It will have a giant plaza area as well as extensive bowl and snake run features. Projected opening is Spring 2010. Check out this rendering:
It’s been open for about a week now and the Canmore skate park has been getting shredded by locals and Calgary skaters alike. There will be a grand opening celebration on September 19th, so check back here for details. Apologies for the small pics– it’s all we have for now. Go see and skate it for yourself!
