The dudes from the Medicine Hat Skateboard Association are good friends of C.A.S.E. and some of them are involved in putting on some skate camps this summer. The camp has a great street course and is also home to the now legendary snake run that will make a man out of anyone who can hold on for the whole ride. Here’s what they say about their camps:
A Christian organization called Eagles Nest Ranch and some local Medicine Hat skateboarders are teaming up to do a skateboard camp focused entirely for skateboarders. This camp is made by skateboarders for skateboarders. It is based on not only the regular habits of a skater, but the regular wants and needs of one. With late nights and late mornings, this camp is exactly what you’re looking for.
The idea of this camp is to bring all the skateboarders from Western Canada together into one area to get to know each other. This is an outreach camp and will have a Christian aspect to it. It is minimal cost and minimal effort. It will be great for team building and for all skaters to meet and hang out. Another bonus is that kids are going to come to “Beat The Heat” our July 1st skateboard competition with $5000 for first.
Dates: June 28th – July 1st
