Huntington Hills and Southwood Skateparks Now Open

Huntington Hills and Southwood skateparks are now open! We hope you’ve had a chance to enjoy them, especially with the amazing weather we’ve had recently. Remember, please respect these new parks and keep them clean by throwing out your trash. Thanks to John Rajic for the photos.

Fundraiser at The Palomino – Saturday, February 27th

Just one quick reminder about our fundraiser at The Palomino this Saturday. It’s an 18+ event featuring bands Pagans of Northumberland, Ghost Factory, and A War Within.
We’ll have raffle/auction items from Vans, DC, The Source Skateboards and Snowboards, Royal Board Shop, Mission Snow and Skate, EQ3, Remind Insoles, as well as artists Steve Rohl and Mike Arsenault. Thanks also to Brookfield for support. Tickets are only $10 from Sloth Records or any CASE board member. It starts at 9PM.
Three local bands have generously donated their time and effort to play. A War Within, Ghost Factory, and Pagans of Northumberland.
Raising funds is important for a non-profit society like ours. It helps cover costs for our website, insurance, and stickers. All of these help us lobby for more skateparks, help maintain the existing parks, and allow us to do events like Go Skateboarding Day.
