Kudos to Shredz in Cochrane for putting on a great competition last weekend! The weather also cooperated and the skating was top notch. Here are some photos, results, and a video:

Sundre, AB Skatepark
The town of Sundre has a new skatepark and it’s about an hour and a half drive from Calgary. If you’re skating in Cochrane or Olds, you’re already really close so you may want to check it out.
Cowboys “Cranked”
Cowboys hosted “Cranked” on Sunday night and a handful of Calgary skaters came out to skate the ramp while Chixdiggit and The Dudes played. It was a crazy scene and everyone ripped the amazing ramp. Here’s a look:

CBE Building Sold
A staple downtown skatespot, the Calgary Board of Education building has been sold for almost $40 million! A lot of tricks have gone down on the ledges and stairs here. We’re guessing that the building won’t be left in tact.
