Go Skate Day 2012 a HUGE Success!

Thanks to everyone who “dropped in” to the Go Skate Day event at Mills, great times were had by all! Lots of skaters participated in the contests, especially the under 12 competition which had some entrants that looked a little old to be groms, but Go Skate Day is all about having fun skating, and there is no doubt that the event was a success in that way. Quintin David won the highest ollie contest, ollieing 37.25 inches!  A surprise visit by Nixon saw a lot of stickers given away, and one lucky skater took home a new watch from them!   The local media came out and you can check out the Calgary Herald and the Calgary Sun videos, both  sharing the stoke for Go Skate Day in Calgary.  CASE thanks to sponsors that made it happen:
