Jesse Martinez is a Venice Beach, CA skate legend (DogTown/Z-Flex/SMA/World Industries/Blind/Z-Cult/etc). He’s the godfather of the Venice Surf & Skateboard Association (it took them 15-years to get their park).
His group is now trying to raise funds to purchase equipment to aid in taking care of the Venice Beach Skatepark. Click here and here if you can donate.
Jesse spends most of his day and night there cleaning, policing and riding. This is a great example of stewardship– skaters taking care of their own space.
