Now that it’s getting cold out, Dalhousie Skate Church is once again providing an indoor place to skate this winter on Tuesday evenings. Click below for all the details:
Lacombe is a about a one and a half hour drive from Calgary but from the photos below, it looks like the new park there is worth the drive. The #2 highway is getting to be a bit of a “skate highway” between Calgary and Edmonton with parks in Airdrie, Olds, Red Deer, Lacombe, and Leduc.

Currently the nearest public indoor skatepark to Calgary, Incline Industries in Sylvan Lake is undergoing renovations. Check out their Facebook page for updates. Rumour has it the new set up will be more skate-friendly.
