Please join us at Millennium Park on Saturday April 5th for our annual skatepark cleanup. Bring gloves, shovels, brooms, and garbage bags if you can. We’ll have some supplies on hand also, courtesy of Calgary Parks.

Former Science Centre Building
CASE submitted a proposal for the Expression of Interest in “Developing, Promoting and Operating, an Arts, Culture and/or Heritage Facility” in the former Science Centre building.
Unfortunately, CASE was not successful in our bid. We proposed that a portion of this building would make an excellent skatepark, both with its actual layout and proximity to Millennium Park.
We’re keeping our eyes and ears open for potential indoor skatepark locations. It’s not an easy thing to accomplish, considering every indoor skatepark that has existed in Calgary is now closed. We’re also communicating with successful proponents of indoor skateparks in other Candian cities.
Thanks for your continued support!

CASE would like to sincerely thank everyone who attended the skatepark open houses as well as completed the PlaceSpeak Survey.
The open houses and the survey generated some great feedback. Now, that feedback is being analyzed by representatives from the City of Calgary as well as consultants van der Zalm & Associates and New Line Skateparks.
The City of Calgary Skatepark Development Project website does a great job of showcasing the ten potential neighbourhoods for skatepark sites in the city and we encourage you to visit the website. They are:
-Edgemont
-New Brighton
-Quarry Park
-Deer Run
-Bowness
-Applewood
-Midnapore
-Huntington Hills
-Southwood
-CKE
